(Web Desk) - A 50-year-old man, Bagar Sai, from the Chhattisgarh region of Surajpur chose to sacrifice a goat at a nearby temple after having his desire granted, but he had no idea that it would take his life.
Bagar Sai travelled to Khopa Dham with other people of Madanpur hamlet to carry out the rite a few days ago. The folks prepared the goat's meat and gathered for a supper once the sacrificial ritual was over.
Excitedly picking up one of the goat's eyeballs from the cooked flesh, Bagar Sai didn't realise what he was about to do. Unfortunately, the goat's eye stuck in Bagar Sai's throat when he was trying to swallow it and he choked.
He was transported to hospital in a hurry since he was having trouble breathing, but regrettably, he succumbed to the choking event and died.
